The price of progress

Food is one of the fundamental pillars on which our impact on the planet revolves and is at the heart of a large number of human rights violations.

How the land is treated and food is grown, in which regions or areas the plantations are exploited, which varieties are handled, which tools and products are used for this and how they are distributed undoubtedly affect our ecosystems and the health of us all.

Victor Luengo, through his documentary “The Price of Progress“, shows us the different faces and actors involved in the agro-food sector and how, on many occasions, the economic interests of large multinationals prevail over the well-being of human beings.

By applying common sense and being more aware and critical consumers we can promote an agriculture more in line with sustainability, that is, we will contribute to make this world a better place.
